Sampung Araw

Day 1 to day 4

Wala.

Day 5 to Day9

Goodluck.

Defense day.

Hehe. Naubos nga yung photo paper na dala namin eh.

Bago sabihin ang verdict, todo kaba kaming grupo. As in to the infinity ang kaba namin, wala kaming nagawa kungdi ang magdasal.

Love can be a many splendored thing
Cant deny the joy it brings
A dozen roses, diamond rings
Dreams for sale and fairy tales
Itll make you hear a symphony
And you just want the world to see
But like a drug that makes you blind,
Itll fool ya every time.

Oh not again! The most abused topic of all time -- and will always be abused -- Love.

All of us, undeniably has/had experience/d love. May it be a romantic love, platonic love, religious love or family love. As long as we have this emotions and experiences related to a strong affection or profound oneness -- then, may I congratulate you, you had just experienced love.

According to Wikipedia, love is the subject of considerable debate, enduring speculation, and thoughtful introspection. In ordinary use, love usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience felt by a person for another person. Love often involves caring for or identifying with a person or thing, including oneself.

Most dictionaries tend to define love as deep affection or fondness. While the regular guys and girls, according to a survey favoured the definitions: altruism, selflessness, friendship, union, family, and bonding or connecting with another.

The trouble with love is
It can tear you up inside
Make your heart believe a lie
Its stronger than your pride.
The trouble with love is
It doesnt care how fast you fall
And you cant refuse the call
See, you got no say at all.

If we just look back our lives 10 to 15 years ago (20 years to some), when we are just kids, who doesn't seem to care much about many things but toys, having the time to play watch TV and occasional crushes. Occasional crushes which we call puppy love.

I can still remember the face of my first crush... clearly... -- because she's my cousin.

Although I didn't know that it was wrong to have a crush on your relatives, I still lost the feelings eventually.

What I hate about puppy love is that for adults its just part of being a kid. Like a play thing -- something that's never serious.

Wasn't I serious when I kissed her at her lips and gently slipped my tounge inside her mouth??? Hahaha of course that part was obviously a joke.

High school isn't fun when you don't have someone. Well at least a friend if not a boy/girl friend. Back in my Hs days, I noticed that male and female couples tend to break-up for like 3 months after. Worse case was 3 minutes after.

Every time I turn around
I think I got it all figured out
My heart keeps calling and I keep on falling
Tears my heart in two

It was fun though, seeing all the bitches cry their heart out and the stupid boys drink bottles of beer -- inside the classroom. haha! A classic act!

And oh! Who would forget about their proms??? Well, of course those loosers who didn't attended this socializing fluff are exempted. So, back to the topic. Who would forget? Right? I mean seeing your special someone, dance -- SOMEONE ELSE. What a sight! If I had a dagger I would've given him a triple blow or an envenom.

Haha! anyways... Aside from THAT. The food are great, dancing with all your friends are well fine too. Not unless little miss drama queen got a front seat ticket and started with all her boohoos. Fuck. Like how cool this night is?!

I don't deny that I had my heart broken like 2-3 times before by some airhead. My message to them? What goes around... comes around.

I think the thing is I easily fall in love which results to alot of hurts along the way and even though I had already told myself to listen, observe and learn many times an unknown force always win.

The trouble with love is
Its in your heart, its in your soul (doesnt care how fast you fall)
You're losin all control
(and you cant refuse the call, and you got no say at all)

Callalily

Monday, February 12, 2007

Yesterday, I went to SM to buy a new shoe and to shop some other stuff. If you could see the current status of my old snickers you might think that I'd been using that since grade 6. Haha. Just kidding.

Anyways, while browsing the shelves of Watson, I heard a familiar voice. (hehe) It was Callalily. So the fan me instinctively hurried to the cashier, paid the items and went down the performance hall.
Ang daming tao. Freaking shit.

They're now at the middle part of the Magbalik song. I found a good spot to stand and started looking for someone I know -- para taguan ko.

Here some of the pics my Callalily-fan-self took.
Note: Pics are ultra blurred. haha.

"I don't think you can fall out of love unless you fall into something else."

This post took me 30 seconds to type and 30 mins. to decide whether to publish or not.

I stormed Makati and got confused

Thursday, February 8, 2007

I was late at my first ever job exam.

Thanks to the Wednesday traffic at Baclaran and the uberlong queue at MRT ticketing booths. Plus the fact that I am silly and doesn't ask for directions -- I got lost inside PBCom!

Well, not literally lost, but a little confused. I arrived at PBCom tower (refer to the image, center building) at exactly 9:00 am and waited for at least 3 more minutes at the front desk to secure a building pass. After doing so, decided to go straight at the 12th floor. Not knowing that the elevators, have this designated floors to service, I chose the nearest then waited again for about 3 minutes.

When I got inside, I was about to press "12" but can't find it. It happens that the elevator that I rode, services 22nd floor and above.

"Shit!" I told myself, as a surge of panic climbs up from my lower back to my nape. "9:06 na! huhuhu"

So I just get off the elevator at 22nd floor. The guard there asks me where am I going, but I just waved my hand signaling him not to mind me. (haha taray ko!)

I pretended having a phone call (hahaha) just so he doesn't suspect that I am confused. I waited again for like 5 mins. for the elevator (which by the way seems to take forever to service a certain floor) but everytime the elevator door opens its full of passengers.

Huhuhu I am so late!

Finally! I got inside and it went from 22nd floor up to the highest level before it goes to the ground floor! Nakakapanginit ng ulo!

I asked the front desk, where's the elevator that goes to the 12th floor. And even before she could answer I noticed that there are signs saying what floors the elevators services.

Hay buhay... Hintay nanaman.

Thank goodness! 12th floor finally!

Rob: Hi! I am looking for Ms. Krystel Paez. I'm here to take an exam.
Guard: Sorry ser, cut-off time namin ay 9:15.
Rob: ...

At this point, I can't decide if I should go back later or just go to school.

I went to Glorietta to look for callcards. I fucking need a callcard so that I could ask my classmate if she could print me a copy of her lab report. If she says 'yes' then I'll be taking the exam, otherwise I'll be heading back to Cavite.

Luckily... she's on a good mood. Pero masyado namang nakakahiya kaya, i told her na ako nalang ang gagawa ng other parts. I asked the concierge for directions (learn from mistakes) for an internet cafe and she pointed me at Creative Lounge.

After typing my report and sending it to her, I decide to have my lunch at where else -- McDonald's.

While munching on fries, eTel phoned me again asking why I didn't showed up... and asked If she could resched me on 1pm exam. I explained to her what had happened (the short version) and told here that I'll be going to be there before 1.

***

The exam process wasn't that hard. I just read 3 paragraphs, answered about 180 questions on IQ, IT and Networking.

Although I didn't finished answering the questions (except of networking exam) I passed the test with Ms. Jory Jimenez congratulating the 3 of us (yeah we were called in by batch).

I shook hands with Ms. Jimenez and greeted the other 2.

I flew away the PBCom, I flew away Makati. lolx

Thomas is the name

Monday, February 5, 2007

No, guys I am not your favorite sarsa nor your along the riles tindero. I am still the Rob you used to know. The straight forward but slightly bent Rob -- no more, no less.

Chino, the guy from New York who's going to send me some Fendi goodness as my graduation present, thinks that my new blog has this malalim and profound effect.

But I say the opposite. I have never thought of myself as malalim or profound person. I am more on the natural side of things. I may sound a little "deep" sometimes, but never "wise deep".

I remembered a time at my Walk Away blog wherein I revealed my whole name as if I am a superstar. Now, Paolo's asking if I have a Thomas in my name. To answer that, yes, my real name is Robby Thomas Madison Ruiz.

But of course, that is just at my dreams.

Why did I started a new blog? Well, not the reason that Jhed thinks. Hindi ako gaya-gaya noh! I planned this even before you considered making a new blog. hehe defensive mode.

Doubting Thomas
is actually an idiom and so are Peeping Tom, Joshing me, Doughboy, Uncle Sam, Mud and Zigger Zigger.

They are not my *other* identities as Arvin and Billycoy suggests.

But still, please do expect some weirdness around.

Doubting Thomas is in the house

Saturday, February 3, 2007

There will always come a point where in we get tired of something and sometimes the only way for us not to get tired of it is to leave it behind and look for something new -- something better.

Well, Doubting Thomas is not an exception. This blog is an attempt to realize Thomas' life, his views and if luck would ever hit him to prove his doubts wrong.
